Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the public notice Advertisement No.AICTE/UG-12/2003 of the 2nd respondent published in The Hindu dated 7.12.2003 and quash the same so far as it relates to interference in the establishment and administration of institutions imparting architectural education and consequently forbear the 2nd respondent from interfering with the administration of the existing and establishment of the new institutions imparting education in Architecture as they are governed by the Architects Act 1972 and its regulations. When the case was taken up for hearing on 15.02.2018, there was no representation for the petitioner. Hence, the matter was directed to be posted today i.e., on 20.02.2018, under the caption "for dismissal". Even today, there is no representation for the petitioner either in person or through his learned counsel.

2.Therefore, this writ petition is dismissed for default. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
