ORDER

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking to direct the 1 st respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 01.07.2025 by cancelling the Settlement Deed No.8161/ 2015, dated 09.09.2015, registered by the petitioner to her daughter, M.Indira (late) within the time frame as may be fixed by this Court.

2.Mr.P.Harish, learned Government Advocate, takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1 & 2. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 & 2. 4.The grievance of the petitioner before this Court is that the representation of the petitioner dated 01.07.2025, requesting to cancel the settlement deed registered as Document No.8161/2015 dated 09.09.2015, has not been considered by the 1 st respondent, so far.

5.This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the 1 st respondent to consider and decide the same on merits and in accordance with law. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of, only by directing the 1 st respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 01.07.2025 and pass orders on the same on

merits and in accordance with law. Such exercise shall be carried out by the 1 st respondent within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
