ORDER

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that contrary to the findings of the Inspection report, wherein allegations were levelled against one M.Jagannathan, Assistant Salesman, who sold the liquor bottle at a higher rate, the 3rd respondent issued the impugned suspension order dated 09.09.2025 against the petitioner and thus, challenging the same, this writ petition has been filed. He further argued that the 3rd respondent mechanically invoked Rule 2(e)(ii) of the TASMAC Rules, 2014, without examining whether the ingredients of the said rule are fulfilled as the said rule requires proof of fraud or misconduct.

2. Mr. M.Sekar, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents / TASMAC seeks time to get instructions. At his request, post the matter after two weeks for filing counter.

3. Considering the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court grants an order of interim stay as prayed for till then. 24.09.2025 kan Note: Issue Order copy on 17.10.2025.
