O R D E R

The petitioner herein apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 21(1) of Mines and Minerals (Development & Regulations) Act, 1957, in Crime No.406 of 2025, on the file of the respondent Police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner had illegally transported gravel of cubic feet on lorries, which was illegally quarried from public place. Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and has been falsely implicated in this case. The petitioner is ready and willing to abide by any conditions that may be imposed by this Court hence, he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police reiterated the prosecution case and opposed the grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Heard the learned counsels on either side and perused the materials available on record.

6. Considering the gravity of the offences, and though vehicles seized, quantity involved is very high, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
