ORDER
The petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the representation dated 23.11.2024 and consequently direct the respondents to issue look-out notice as against the accused in Crime No.739/2024 on the file of the second respondentPolice.
2. Based on the complaint/representation dated 23.11.2024 sent by the petitioner to the respondents, the respondents-Police had registered a case in Crime No.739 of 2024 on 20.11.2024 for the offences under Sections 126(2), 296(b), 115(2) and 351(2) of the BNSS and Section 4 of the Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act. Immediately after giving the complaint on 20.11.1024, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition to issue look-out notice. Hence, it is for the respondents/Police to take steps and follow-up action to see that the investigation is done and the petitioner cannot dictate terms for investigation by the Police. It is for the respondents-Police to take care of the investigation and the respondents-Police are directed to complete the investigation and file final report/charge-sheet before the Court concerned, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2 / 4
3. With the above observations/directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
