Respondent(s) PRAYER To modify the bail condition imposed in Crl.O.P.NO.20211 of 2025 dated 09.09.2025 and permit the petitioner to report before the respondent police at Chennai (either before the jurisdictional Police Station where the petitioner resides or as may be directed by this Honble Court) instead of Town Police Station, Kanniyakumari.

ORDER
This petition has been filed to modify the condition imposed on the petitioner in Crl.O.P.No.20211 of 2025 dated 09.09.2025.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner was granted bail in Crl.OP.No.20211 of 2025 dated 09.09.2025 with a condition that "the petitioner shall stay at Kanniyakumary and report before the Town Police Station, Kanniyakumari, daily at 10.30 a.m, for the period of three months". He would further submit that the distance between Chennai and Knniyakumari is more than 700 kilometers, and daily reporting has become highly impractical and onerous and hence the present petition has been filed seeking for modification of condition.
3. In view of the above submission, the condition imposed on the petitioner in Crl.O.P.No.20211 of 2025 dated 09.09.2025 is modified to the effect that "the petitioner shall stay at Vellore and report before the Vellore South Police Station on alternative days at 10.30 a.m., until further
orders". All other conditions remains unaltered. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed.
