ORDER

This writ petition is filed for direction directing the respondents to issue settlement patta, in the name of the petitioner, with respect to the lands to an extent of 16 acres and 89 cents, in Ummipedu Village, Ponneri Taluk, Tiruvallur District comprised in S.Nos.64/7, 64/8, 64/9, 64/12, 64/13, 64/14, 64/17, 65/1, 66/2, 73/2, 73/3, 73/4, 73/5, 74/5, 74/6, 74/7, 75/5, 75/9, 75/10, 75/11, 75/12, 75/13, 75/14 and 75/15 by considering petitioner's representations dated 15.02.2017 and 12.07.2019.

2. Heard, Mr.P.Raja, the learned counsel for the petitioner, and Mr.V.Jeevagiridharan, Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the sixth respondent is directed to conduct enquiry on the representation of the petitioner dated 15.02.2017 and 12.07.2019 and, after issuance of notice to the petitioner and counter parties, if any, and giving them opportunity of hearing, pass orders to issue settlement patta, in the name of the petitioner, with respect to the lands to an extent of 16 acres and 89 cents, in Ummipedu Village, Ponneri Taluk, Tiruvallur District comprised in S.Nos.64/7, 64/8, 64/9, 64/12, 64/13, 64/14, 64/17, 65/1, 66/2, 73/2, 73/3, 73/4, 73/5, 74/5, 74/6, 74/7, 75/5, 75/9, 75/10, 75/11, 75/12, 75/13, 75/14 and 75/15, on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
