O R D E R

Ms.Keerthana Shenoi, learned counsel on behalf of Mr.L.Jai Venkatesh, learned Standing Counsel accepts notice for the officials of the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board/R1 and R2 and is armed with instructions to enable final disposal of the Writ Petition, even at the stage of admission. In view of the nature of order that is proposed to be passed, no notice is thought necessary at this juncture to the private respondents, arrayed as R3 to R5.

2. She would have no objection to the Court issuing mandamus for consideration of the petitioner's representation dated 02.09.2023.

3. Thus, mandamus is issued to R2, the Assistant Engineer, Tamil Nadu Electricity Board to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.09.2023 for cancellation of electricity service connection bearing Nos.(1) 2 / 4

S.C.Nos.09033021667 (2) 0903302177 (3) 0903302178 (4) 0903302179 and (5) 0903302180 and to remove the digital meters installed in property bearing Plot No. Plot No.2, Sri Devi Karumariamman Nagar, Tiruverkadu Revenue Village, comprised in Survey Nos.144/1B, 143/1B, 143/1B2, Poonamallee Taluk, Poonamallee, Tiruvallur District and pass orders on the same after hearing the petitioner as well as the private respondents, arrayed as R3 to R5 and any others deemed to be necessary for the proper adjudication of the representation, within a period of eight (8) weeks from date of receipt of a copy of this order, in accordance with law.
