The application is filed to condone the delay of 2542 days in filing the written statement.

2. I have heard the learned counsel for the applicant and the respondents.

3. I have gone through the affidavit, filed in support of the application.

4. According to the applicant/2nd defendant, during COVID-19 Pandemic situation, written statement was filed in the box kept for filing of pleadings. However, the same was misplaced and only for the said reason, the applicant/2nd defendant is now seeking filing of fresh written statement along with condonation of delay.

5. I am satisfied with the reasons assigned in the affidavit, filed in support of the application.

6. Accordingly, the delay is condoned and the application is ordered.
