ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to furnish the copy of the medical report along with expert opinion pertaining to the rejection of insurance claim of petitioner's late Husband Mr. Gopalakrihnan pertaining to the policy No.82739621 of the respondent company to the petitioner.

2. When the matter came up for hearing, a detailed counter affidavit along with annexures was filed by the respondent. It is the contention of the learned counsel for the respondent that the respondent is a private entity and no writ petition will lie.

3. Be that as it may, along with the counter affidavit, member consent form, policy document, death claim form, medical documents of the life assured, petitioner's letter dated 22.07.2023, the copy of the repudiation letter and the refund intimation letter 23.09.2023 are also annexed and the said copy is also furnished to the learned counsel for the petitioner. No other Page No.2/4

document is referred in the repudiation letter. It is for the petitioner to work out the remedies before the appropriate forum.

4. Reserving such liberty, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
