Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to include the petitioner's name in the National Counselling list as an OBC candidate for participating in the Stray Vacancy Counselling for MBBS admission scheduled from 22.09.2025 to 26.09.2025 for the academic year 2025-2026, for Deemed Universities and Self-Financing Colleges under the All India Quota and consequently permit the petitioner to join any one of the Deemed Universities or Self-Financing Colleges under the Management Quota by considering her OBC Certificate and the marks obtained by her in the NEET Examination in the State of Tamil Nadu by considering her representations dated 18.08.2025 and 01.09.2025.

ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to include the petitioner's name in the National Counselling list as an OBC candidate for participating in the Stray Vacancy Counselling for MBBS admission scheduled from 22.09.2025 to 26.09.2025 for the academic year 2025-2026, in respect of Deemed Universities and Self-Financing Colleges under the All India Quota, and consequently to permit the petitioner to join any one of the said institutions under the Management Quota by considering her OBC Certificate and the marks obtained in the NEET Examination, based on her representations dated 18.08.2025 and 01.09.2025.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ petition, the second respondent is directed to consider the request made by the petitioner seeking permission to include the petitioner's name in the National Counselling list as an OBC candidate for participating in the Stray Vacancy Counselling for MBBS admission scheduled from 22.092025 to 26.09.2025 for the academic year 2025-2026, in respect of Deemed Universities and
Self-Financing Colleges under the All India Quota, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
