Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for records relating to the refusal check slip in RFL/Gobichettipalayam Joint-I Sub Registrar/6/2024 on the file of the Joint-I Sub Registrar, Gobichettipalayam dated 22.07.2024 and quash the same and further direct the respondent to admit the settlement deed dated 22.07.2024 and register the document.

O R D E R

The Writ Petition is filed to quash the impugned Refusal Check RFL/Gobichettipalayam Joint-I Sub Registrar/6/2024 dated 22.07.2024 and consequently direct the respondent to register the settlement deed dated 22.07.2024, without insisting for original parent document.

2. A Refusal Check Slip has been issued directing the petitioner to produce the original parent document.

3. In the light of the Judgement passed by this Court in Ramayee - Vs - The Sub Registrar and others - (2020 (6) CTC 697), the impugned order cannot be sustained.

4. The Writ Petition is allowed. The respondent is directed to register the settlement deed dated 22.07.2024, within a period of 2 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
