Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner sought permission of this Court to withdraw this Writ Petition. He has also made an endorsement in the court bundle to that effect.

In view of the above, this Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioner to approach the alternative forum. It is made clear that if there is any delay by the petitioner in approaching the alternative forum, the authority concerned shall deal with the same, in accordance with law. No costs. Consequently, connected W.P.M.P.Nos.44450 and 44451 of 2003 are closed.
