This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the second respondent-Police to a final report in Crime No.266 of 2024 on the file of the second respondent-police within a stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court.

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent, on instructions, submitted that based on the complaint given by the petitioner herein F.I.R in Crime No.266 of 2024 was registered on 26.10.2024 for the alleged offences under Sections 406 and 420 IPC against the accused persons. He further submitted that investigation is under progress and hence, he prays time to file the final report.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent/Police to expedite the investigation and file a final report as expeditiously as possible.
