ORDER
The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the first respondent to grant trade licence to the petitioner in the name and style of "Samatva Wellness" to run a spa at No.19, Old No.46, E-Bock, 3rd street, Anna Nagar East, Chennai 600 012, by considering her application, dated 24.07.2024.
2. Ms.K.Aswini Devi, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the first respondent; Mr.L.Baskaran, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) takes notice for the respondents 2 to 4.
3. The learned Standing Counsel, who takes notice for the first respondent submits that after getting police report, application of the petitioner will be processed.
4. The learned Government Advocate, on instructions, submits that the respondents 2 to 4 have not recommended for issuance of Trade Licence, as there was a suit in O.S.No.6636/2023 is pending in respect of the subject property.
5. In view of the adverse report by the fourth respondent, the respondents 2 to 4 are directed to forward the report to the first respondent, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The first respondent, after receipt of the report from the other respondents, shall issue notice to the petitioner with regard to the adverse police report and take final decision on the application submitted by the petitioner, within a period of six weeks from the receipt of the report, after affording reasonable opportunity to the petitioner.
6. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
