Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to extend the benefit granted in the Government Letter No.63305/ Pay Cell / 2010-1 dated 08.11.2020 fixing the Selection Grade Pay Scale from 5200 -20200 plus 2400 G.P. to Rs.9300- 34800 plus 4200 G.P. with monetary benefit from 01.04.2013 in consonance with the fixed in G.O.Ms. No.325 Finance Pay cell Department dated 22.07.2013 on the basis of our representation dated 03.05.2024 within a time frame stipulated by this Honourbale Court. O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus directing the second respondent to extend the benefits granted in Government Letter No.63305/Pay Cell/2010-1, dated 08.11.2020, by revising the Selection Grade Pay Scale from Rs.5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs.2400 to Rs.9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs.4200, along with monetary benefits effective from 01.04.2013, in consonance with the provisions of G.O (Ms) No. 325, Finance (Pay Cell) Department, dated 22.07.2013, based on the petitioner's representation dated 03.05.2024.

2. As the claim of the petitioner is yet to be considered by the respondents, this court is not inclined to go into the merits of the case.

3. Mr.Yogesh Kannadasan, learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice for the Respondent No.1 and Mr.P.T.Ramadevi, learned Standing Counsel, who takes notice for the respondents 2 to 5, have fairly submitted that the writ petition can be disposed of by directing the Respondent No.2 to pass appropriate orders on the representation dated 03.05.2024 submitted by the petitioner.

4. In view of the same, without going into the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the Respondent No.2 to consider the representation dated 03.05.2024 submitted by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
