This petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents 1 & 2 to provide police protection for measuring and surveying the land in Survey No.76/1B Arakkasanaalli Village, Pennagaram Taluk, 2.The petitioner owns the land comprised in Survey No.76/1B to an extent of 10 cents and Patta No.347, situated in Arakkasanaalli Village, Pennagaram Taluk, Dharmapuri District. Further, there is encroachment by the adjacent land owner. Therefore, the petitioner applied for measuring and surveying the property before the Revenue Authorities and paid requisite fees. However, the 3rd respondent is preventing the surveyor to survey the land. Hence, the petition. 3.On the request made by the petitioner, if the surveyor enters the petitioner's land and surveys the land and if any obstruction while surveying the land, the concerned surveyor is at liberty to lodge a complaint before the 2nd respondent to provide police protection. On receipt of the same, the 2nd respondent shall inspect and pass orders to provide police protection for the petitioner's land to survey. 2/4

4.With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
