This writ petition is filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 1st respondent, namely, the District Collector, Tiruvannamalai, to issue Community Certificate to the children of the petitioner on the basis of Community Certificates dated 02.09.1977 and 14.08.1984 issued to the petitioner's husband.

2.The fact that the petitioner's appeal is pending, is not in dispute. Having regard to the limited scope of the prayer in the writ petition, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's contentions either in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition or in the representation, this Court directs the 1st respondent/District Collector to consider the petitioner's appeal, dated 20.11.2023, and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in

accordance with law, after giving sufficient opportunity to the petitioner, within a period of 16 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3.With this direction, this writ petition is disposed of.
