Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records relating to the impugned order dated 02.08.2023 made in application No.TN-52023060112605, Transaction Reference No.133060723673174 on the file of the respondent to quash the same and consequently direct the respondent to issue community certificate to the petitioner as "Hindu Malaikkuravan Scheduled Tribe Community" on the basis of community certificate issued to the petitioner's father vide Certificate No.4788/85 dated 01.08.1985 and her brother community certificate No.TN-5202312187693 dated 09.01.2024.

J U D G M E N T

(Judgment of the Court was delivered by R.SUBRAMANIAN, J.) It is brought to our notice that instead of the photograph of the petitioner, her brother's photograph has been affixed in the certificate. Thiru.Rajesh Lakhoni, I.A.S., Additional Chief Secretary/Commissioner of Revenue Administration, would state that the Certificate will have to be cancelled and a fresh certificate will be issued rectifying the error. The petitioner will resubmit the application along with the proper photograph to enable the Department to rectify the mistake and issue a proper certificate in favour of the petitioner.

2. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
