The unsuccessful trade mark applicant is the appellant herein. By this petition, the appellant seeks to implead the opponent before the Trademarks Registry.

Undoubtedly, the opponent is a necessary party.

2. Mr.R.Sathish Kumar, learned counsel, who appears for the opponent also states that the 2nd respondent is a necessary party. Therefore, this petition is allowed as prayed for and the appeal shall be amended on or before 26.06.2025. A copy of the amended appeal shall be served on the respondent within a week therefrom.
