ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of a Mandamus seeking a direction against the respondents to consider the representation dated 14.11.2024 given by the petitioner seeking transfer from Villupuram
Medical College Hospital to Thoothukudi Government Medical College and Hospital or Thoothukudi, ESI Hospital.
2.In the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition, the petitioner had stated that she is working as staff nurse in Villupuram Government Medical College and Hospital and had given a representation seeking transfer to Thoothukudi Government Medical College and Hospital or Thoothukudi, ESI Hospital. Unfortunately, all the posts in Thoothukodi ESI Hospital were filled up.
3.However, instructions had been obtained by the respondents that the panel for promotion to the post of Nursing Superintendent Grade - II is under process and the request of the petitioner will be considered, if any vacancy arises in Thoothukudi District, subsequent to the promotions to the post of Nursing Superintendent Grade - II based on seniority and merit. 4.Recording this particular statement on behalf of the respondents, this Writ Petition stands disposed of with a direction to consider the request of the petitioner, at the time when vacancy arises in Thoothukudi District
consequent to the promotion to the post of Nursing Superintendent Grade - II, based on seniority and merit. No costs.
