This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 679 days in filing the above Criminal Appeal against the judgment dated 27.06.2022 passed in Spl. S.C.No.83 of 2020 on the file of Sessions Judge, Magalir Neethimandram (Fast Track Mahila Court, Tiruppur.

2. Ms.V.Alamelu, learned counsel for petitioner submitted that due to lack of legal knowledge, the petitioner is not able to instruct counsel on record to prefer the above Criminal Appeal and only during month of August 2025, he gave papers to him, as a result of which, there is a delay of 679 days in filing the above Criminal Appeal arose, which is neither willful nor wanton. Therefore, he filed this petition to condone the delay in filing the above Criminal Appeal.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances, and the reasons stated by the petitioner in the affidavit seems to be justifiable one, this court is inclined to allow this petition.
