ORDER
The petitioner is the wife in a matrimonial proceeding. The petitioner seeks transfer of HMOP.No.3649 of 2024 pending on the file of the VI Additional Family Court, Chennai, to be transferred to the file of the Family Court, Villupuram.

2.Despite service of notice on the respondent, the respondent has not chosen to enter appearance either in person or through counsel. The name of the respondent is also printed in the today's cause list. Hence, I proceeded to hear the learned counsel for the petitioner.
3.The petitioner is the wife, who resides at Villupuram. The petitioner has to take care of her minor 2 1⁄2 year old child and the petitioner expresses her difficulties to travel all the way to Chennai to attend the hearings in HMOP.No.3649 of 2024 and that the petitioner has made out a prima facie case for seeking transfer as prayed for.
4.In the light of the above, this Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is allowed. The case in HMOP.No.3649 of 2024 is hereby withdrawn from the file of the VI Additional Family Court, Chennai and transferred to the file of the Family Court, Villupuram.
