This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is filed to grant exemption to the petitioner from surrendering towards conviction based on the sentence imposed on the petitioner in C.C.No.267 of 2022, dated 24.04.2023 on the file of the XVIII Metropolitan Magistrate at Saidapet, Chennai which was confirmed by the learned VII Additional District and Sessions Judge at Chennai in Crl.Appeal No.289 of 2023 by judgment, dated 13.09.2023. 2.Today, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner surrendered before the learned XVIII Metropolitan Magistrate at Saidapet, Chennai on 11.01.2024 and now, confined in the Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai. In view of the same, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is dismissed.
