O R D E R

Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition filed under Section 24 of the Civil Procedure Code, to withdraw I.D.O.P. No.249 of 2019 pending on the file of Family Court, Chengalpattu, and transfer the same to the file of Family Court, Coimbatore.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the respondent was served about the pendency of the proceedings before this court and that the respondent has entered appearance through counsel. When the matter was taken up for hearing, there was no representation for the respondent and hence the matter was passed over, to be heard, in the afternoon session. When the matter was called again in the afternoon session at 2.15 p.m, there is no representation for the respondent. Hence, this court presumes that the respondent has no serious objection for transferring I.D.O.P. No.249/2019 pending on the file of Family Court, Chengalpattu to the file of Family Court, Coimbatore.

3. In view of the same, I.D.O.P. No.249/2019 pending on the file of Family Court, Chengalpattu, is withdrawn from the said court and transferred to the file of Family Court, Coimbatore. The Family Court, Coimbatore, is expected to conclude the trial, as expeditiously as possible, without adjourning the matter beyond 45 working days, at any point of time, in order to bring the issue to a logical end.

4. The Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is allowed as indicated above. No costs. Consequently, the connected Civil Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
