It is stated by the learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner that the period of incarceration has touched 60 days which is the statutory period under section 167(2) of Cr.P.C.

2.In view of that particular fact, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed, however, directing the Judicial Magistrate I, Pollachi, to pass appropriate orders taking the period of incarceration by the petitioner from the date of remand.
