passed by this Court in W.P.No.1501 of 2021.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to call for the records pertaining to the orders passed by the 1st respondent in his proceedings in R.P.No.143/2021 D2 dated 06.09.2022 confirming the order dated 25.04.2018 passed by the 2nd respondent in Se.Mu.Na.Ka.No.1962/2017/ A2, quash the same and consequentially direct the respondents to reinstate the petitioner to the post of Goshala keeper with full backwages, continuity of service and all attendant benefits in any temple in and around Tirutani as per the earlier order dated 01.04.2021 passed by this Court in W.P.No.1501 of 2021.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, Mr.N.R.R.Arun Natarajan, learned Special Government Pleader (HR & CE) appearing for the respondents submitted that there is an alternative remedy available to the petitioner to file a Review Petition before the Government under Section 114 of the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Act. Without exhausting the said remedy, the petitioner has directly approached

this Court by filing the present Writ Petition.

3. At this juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioner sought permission of this Court to withdraw the Writ Petition with liberty to file a Review Petition before the Government. He has also made an endorsement in the Writ Petition to that effect.

4. Acceding to the request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. The petitioner is at liberty to file a Review Petition before the Government and the delay in preferring the Review petition is directed to be condoned.
