When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the writ petition. He has also made an endorsement as follows:
"The 2nd respondent and the petitioner are husband and wife. They are amicably compromised and the 2nd respondent gave Rs.5,00,000/- and five sovereigns of gold to the petitioner for her future and final settlement. Therefore, they filed a divorce petition by mutual consent before the Subordinate Court at Neyveli on 28.02.2020 and on the same day, the petitioner withdrawn her complaint before the 1st respondent. Therefore the petitioner instructed to withdraw the petition."

2. Recording the same, this writ petition stands dismissed as withdrawn. No costs. Consequently, the connected writ miscellaneous petition is closed.
