This Writ Petition has been filed, forbearing the respondents, their officers or constables or anyone attached to the office of the respondents their men or subordinates from in any manner interfering or disturbing
with the affairs of the petitioners Club viz., "Purasawakam Three Star Recreation Club" having its registered office at No.33/A (2nd floor) Venkatesapuram Colony, North street, Ayanavaram, Chennai, Tamilnadu-600 023 or its members right to avail the facilities of playing indoor games and carry out its activities in conformity with the objects rules and procedure.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents filed a detailed counter stating that the petitioner along with other accused persons were involved in gambling at the petitioner's club. Hence, case in Crime No.328 of 2024 has been registered as against the petitioner and other accused persons for the offence under sections 46 CP Act and 9 of Gaming Act on 01.12.2024 and the investigation is in progress.
4. In view of the same, the petitioner is not entitled to the relief as sought for in this writ petition. Hence, this Writ Petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
