ORDER

The relief sought for in this writ petition is to direct the first respondent to issue patta in favour of the petitioner in respect of Survey No.124/1, 124/2 to the extent of each 180 sq.mt, Vichur Ammankulam Village, Ponneri Taluk, Thiruvallur District based on the petitioner's

2. Mr.R.P.Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1 & 2. By consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final hearing at the admission stage itself.

The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner purchased immovable property from V.Ramesh, the property comprising Patta No.417, as per patta Old Survey No.124/1, New Survey No.124/1part, measuring an extent of 183.95 sq.mt or 1980 sq.ft., patta No.378 as per Patta Old Survey No.124/1, New Survey No.124/21, measuring an extent 2/6

of 156 sq.mt or 1678.56 sq.ft, patta No.107, as per Patta Old Survey No.124/1, New Survey No.124/11, measuring an extent of 80 sq mt., or 860.8 sq ft., Survey No.124/2-part, measuring an extent of 176 sq.mt or 1894 sq.ft and Patta No.22, as per Patta Old Survey No.124-part, New Survey No.124/10, measuring for an extent of 81 sq.mt or 871.56 sq.ft abd situated at Vichur Ammankulam Village, ponneri Taluk, Thiruvallur District. In respect of Survey Nos.124/1 & 124/2, the third respondent filed a Civil Suit in O.S.No.311/2009 for permanent injunction and the subject suit was decided in favour of the petitioner. 3.1. The petitioner has given a representation dated 04.07.2025 before the first respondent to survey and issue patta in regard to S.Nos.124/1 & 124/2. However, till date, no order was passed. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present writ petition.

4. Though many grounds have been raised in this writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's 3/6

5. Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent submitted that the petitioner's representation dated 04.07.2025 would be considered and appropriate orders passed, within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

6. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

7. Considering the limited relief sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.07.2025, after giving due notice and opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as third respondent and aggrieved persons, if any and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
