This petition is filed seeking to extend the interim bail granted to the petitioner in Crl.R.C.No.1921 of 2023 dated 10.11.2023. 2.This Court, on 20.12.2023, had passed the following order: "The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that there is no presiding offier before the Additional Sessions Court, Mettur and therefore, the suspension of sentence filed by the petition is yet to be taken up for hearing. The learned counsel further submitted that the petitioner had already deposited 20% of the cheque amount of Rs.1,20,000/- .
2.Mr.V.Elango, learned counsel appearing for respondent submitted that the petitioner had filed an appeal with a delay and the same is yet to be condoned.
3.In response to the submission made by the learned counsel for respondent, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court had already condoned the delay and directed the appeal to be numbered and the case is posted for hearing on 07.02.2024.

4.Post this case on 08.02.2024. Considering the submissions made by the learned counse for the petitioner, the interim protection already granted by this Court on 02.06.2023, is extended, till then. In the meantime, if there is any availability of the presiding officer, the petitioner is directed to move a petition before the concerned sessions Court and get the suspension of sentence."
2.In continuation and conjunction to the earlier order passed by this Court on 20.12.2023, today, the learned counsel for petitioner submitted that on 11.01.2024, the Lower Appellate Court had granted bail to the petitioner. Hence, the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous. 3.Recording the said submission, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is disposed of.
