..Petitioner(s) Vs ..Respondent(s) To modify the order dated 10/07/2025 in A.No.2131 of 2020 in C.S.No.204 of 1940 by directing the respondent to pay the monthly maintenance of Rs.35,000/- (Rupees Thirty Five Thousand only) from 1st applicant Valli to the 3rd applicant Sujatha (who is a destitute woman with no means of support to live and support her 2 daughters, The Distitute woman certificate NO.TN 2720250626107 dated 30/06/2025, issued by the Tahsildar, Mylapore is herewith enclosed) from the month of June 2019 and to continue the said monthly maintenance.
A No. 2131 of 2020 To pay the montly maintenance of Rs.35,000/- (Rupees Thirty five Thousand only) to the 3rd applicant by every month i.e. from the mont of June 2019.

Ms.S.Sumathi AG&OT Order The application on hand has been instituted seeking modification of the earlier order passed by this Court in A No.2131 of 2020.

As per the scheme decree, maintenance is payable only to the Senior most member of the family and as per the orders of this Court, the maintenance amount has been paid to Mrs.Valli (Senior Most family member). The present application has been filed by Mrs.Sujatha, who is not a Senior Most member of the family. It is stated that Mrs. Valli (Senior Most family member) and Mrs.Anitha have no objection in granting maintenance to the applicant Mrs.Sujatha. Both Mrs.Valli and Mrs.Anitha have given their consent and filed an affidavit stating that they have no objection to pay the monthly maintenance amount to Mrs. Sujatha / applicant herein.

In view of the consent given by Senior most family member Mrs.Valli along with the other member of the family, Mrs.Anitha, the monthly maintenance is directed to be paid by AG&OT in favour of Mrs.Sujatha. If any arrears of monthly maintenance are due to the family members, the said arrears shall also be paid to Mrs.Sujatha.
