This petition has been filed to condone the delay of 1 day in filing the criminal appeal as against order dated 16.07.2024 made in S.T.C.No.192 of 2022 passed by the learned 26th Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and perused the materials available on record. Though notice was served to the respondent, there is no representation for the respondent either in-person or through learned counsel.
3. Being satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, the delay of 1 day is condoned and the petition is ordered.
