The petitioner herein was arrested on 20.08.2025 for the alleged offence punishable under Section 8(c) r/w 20(b)(ii)(B) of NDPS Act in Crime No.516 of 2025 on the file of the respondent, seeks bail. 1/4

2.The allegation against this petitioner is that the petitioner was found in illegal possession of 1.200 kgs of ganja. Hence, the case. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that a false case has been foisted against the petitioner and the petitioner no way connected with the alleged offence. Hence, he prays to grant bail to the petitioner.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent reported that there are 11 previous cases pending against the petitioner, out of which, 3 cases are NDPS offence. Hence, he opposed to grant bail to the petitioner.

5.Considering the bad antecedents of the petitioner and also considering the fact that there are 11 previous cases pending against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
