Heard Mr.Karthik Ram Mohan, learned counsel appearing for M/s.Ramasubramaniam Associates for the applicant and Mr.Karthik Jegannath, learned Government Advocate for the non-applicants.

These applications are filed to condone the delay of 530 days in filing these appeals. It is submitted that the State has also challenged the same order assailed by the present applicant in these appeals. It is further submitted that the delay is caused because the applicant underwent change of management and there were some administrative decisions to be taken.

We are inclined to consider these applications only because the State has also filed an appeal and the same is pending before this court, however, the applicant deserves to be mulct with costs.

These applications, accordingly, stand allowed and are disposed of on condition that the applicant deposits Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) in each matter within a period of three weeks to the credit of Adyar Cancer Institute, Chennai.
