This petition has been filed seeking for transfer of investigation pending in Crime No.173 of 2022 on the file of respondent to some other investigating agency.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the accused person was involved in creating a fabricated sale deed and hence, a complaint was given in the year 2022. Even though the First Information Report was registered in Crime No.173 of 2022 for offences u/s.420, 465, 468, 471 and 109 IPC, there is absolutely no progress in the investigation. It is under these circumstances, the present petition has been filed before this Court.

3. Heard Mr.R.Nalliyappan, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.A.Gopinath, learned Government Advocate [Crl.side], appearing for respondent.

4. Learned Government Advocate [Crl.side], on instructions, submitted that investigation is pending and that the same will be completed as expeditiously as possible.

5. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the grievance expressed by the petitioner, there shall be a direction to the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Sooramangalam Division, Salem, 2/4

to monitor the investigation conducted by the respondent in Crime No.173 of 2022. The investigation shall be completed and final report shall be filed within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
