ORDER

This writ petition is filed for a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.11.2022 for cancellation of document Nos.2467 & 2502 of 2022 dated 23.08.2022

2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

3. It is the grievance of the petitioner the sale deeds were executed during the pendency of the suit in O.S.No.177 of 2015 on the file of Subordinate Judge, Attur. Therefore, seeks to cancel the sale deeds dated 23.08.2022.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader submitted that the respondents cannot proceed on the said representation. That apart the registering authorities are not empowered to cancel the documents unless the documents fall within the ambit of Sections 22-A or 22-B of the Registration Act.

5. With the above, this writ petition stands dismissed.
