Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 3rd and 4th respondents to grant 365 days maternity paid leave to the petitioner, who is a physically challenged person, working under the 4th Respondent as Village Librarian and had given birth to a male child on 07.09.2023, as per G.O.Ms.No.84 Human Resources Management (FR.III) Department dated 23.08.2021, based on the Petitioner's representation dated 16.09.2023. ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to grant 365 days maternity paid leave to the petitioner, who is a physically challenged person, working under the 4th Respondent as Village Librarian and had given birth to a male child on 07.09.2023, as per G.O.Ms.No.84 Human Resources Management (FR.III) Department dated 23.08.2021, based on the Petitioner's representation dated 16.09.2023.

2. Considering the limited request made by the petitioner, the 4th respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 16.09.2023 and pass orders on merits in accordance with law, in terms of G.O.Ms.No.84 Human Resources Management (FR.III) Department dated 23.08.2021 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

3. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
