ORDER

The relief sought for in this writ petition is to direct the second respondent to measure the property in Survey No.233 Sub division No.1B, Puthur Agraharam Village, Salem West Taluk, Salem District.

2. Mr.P.Ganesan, learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final hearing at the admission stage itself.

The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is the absolute owner of the property comprised in S.No.233 Sub Division No.1B, to an extent of 0.95 1/4 cents in Puthur Agraharam Village, Salem West Taluk, Salem District. In order to measure and fix the boundary of his land, he made a application before the respondents on 07.08.2025, along with necessary fee. However, till date no order was passed. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present writ petition.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, it would 2/6

suffice, if this Court issues direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.08.2025 to survey and fix boundaries in respect of aforesaid property.

5. Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner's representation dated 07.08.2025 would be considered and appropriate orders passed, within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

6. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

Considering the limited relief sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to conduct a survey and fix the boundaries, in respect of aforesaid petitioner's property, after giving due notice and opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as aggrieved persons, if any, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is needless to say, in case of any obstruction 3/6

being created by third parties, the second respondent is at liberty to approach the Police officials, in which case, the Police officials shall render assistance to the second respondent to carry out the aforesaid exercise.

8. With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
