This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to grant 6 days of emergency leave and, the 1st and 2nd respondents to grant 30 days of ordinary leave without escort to the detenue (son of the petitioner), Paraman @ Paramashivan.
2. Today, when the writ petition was taken up for hearing, Mr.M.Ezhilarasu, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the writ petition and has also made an endorsement to that effect in the case bundle.
3. Recording the above submission and the endorsement so made, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
