ORDER

This petition has been filed to provide Police Protection to the petitioners based on the representation dated 03.07.2025.

2. It is the case of petitioners that the first petitioner belongs to Schedule Caste Community and the second petitioner belongs to Most Backward Community. They got acquainted with each other in the year 2024 and subsequently developed into a relationship. Since their marriage proposal was not accepted by the family members of the second petitioner, the second petitioner forced to leave her parental house and married the first petitioner on 03.07.2025. Therefore, the second petitioner's parents causing life threat to the petitioners. In this regard, she gave a representation on 03.07.2025 to give police protection.

3. The learned Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that based on the complaint given by the parents of the second respondent, a woman missing complaint has been filed.

4. Considering the above submissions, it appears that the petitioners appears to have married each other and they also given a representation dated 03.07.2025 to give police protection. If there is any threat to the petitioners, the respondents shall consider the representation of the petitioners and register a case and provide necessary police protection to them.
