PRAYER:-Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for an issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to conduct a proper land survey and demarcation of the petitioner's property situated at Mannargudi City , Ward No. 1, Block 40 T.U.A 2285/2 New Urban Area No. 31, within at time frame fixed by this Court and direct the 3 rd respondent to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and the officials during the said survey and demarcation process by considering the representation dated 21.10.2023.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to conduct a land survey and demarcation of the petitioner's property.

2.Mr.P.Ganesan, learned Government Advocate, takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1 & 2. Mr.L.Baskaran, learned Government Advocate (Crl. rd respondent. By consent of the parties, the Side) takes notice on behalf of the 3 main writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that though the petitioner made a representations dated 24.07.2025 before the respondents, to survey the petitioner's property and demarcate the boundaries, the same has not been considered by the respondents 1 & 2, so far. Hence, he prayed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to consider and dispose of petitioner's representation dated 24.07.2025.

4.Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 24.07.2025 will be considered and disposed of within four weeks.

5.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the 3 rd respondents.

6.Considering the submission made by both the parties and in view of the limited prayer sought for in this Writ Petition, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 24.07.2025 and complete the survey and demarcate the boundaries after issuing due notice to the concerned parties, if any. It is needless to state that, if there is any obstruction, the respondents 1 and 2 shall complete the process with the aid of the 3 rd respondent / Police. Such exercise shall be carried out by the respondents 1 and 2 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7.With the above said direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
