ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to survey the agriculture land properties situated at Tiruvannamalai District and sub district, So.kilnachipattu Village Punja survey no.79/3C, which is total extent of 60 cents based on the petitioner online application along with survey fee challan No.20250811031654 dated 11.08.2025.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioner has their land situated at Tiruvannamalai District and sub district, So.kilnachipattu Village Punja survey no.79/3C, which is total extent of 60 cents. In order to survey the said land, the petitioner submitted an online application before the respondent and also paid requisite fees for the same. So far the respondent did not take any steps to survey and demarcate the aforementioned land belongs to the petitioner. Hence, this writ petition.

In view of the above, the respondent is directed to survey the petitioner's aforesaid land based on the title deed produced by the petitioner, after issuance of notice to the adjacent land owners and counter parties, if any, and to serve the survey report to the petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. It is made clear that, if the surveyor concerned is obstructed by third parties while surveying the subject land, the said surveyor can approach the jurisdictional police seeking police aid and on such request, the jurisdictional police shall provide adequate police protection to the surveyor.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
