Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 3rd and 5th respondents to consider the petitioner representation dated 19.05.2025 and serve the Award Copy to the petitioner in respect of Survey Nos.49/13A to an extent 0.29.5 and S.No.49/13D to an extent 0.27.0 at Amullaivoyal Village of Thiruvottiyur at Thiruvallur District. Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents. With consent, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 2/6

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner submitted a representation to the respondents 3 and 5 on 19.05.2025 seeking serve him the copy of the Award in respect to Survey No.49/13 A to an extent of 0.29.5 and Survey No.49/13D to an extent of 0.27.0 at Amullaivoyal Village of Thiruvottiyur at Thiruvallur District. However, the said representation has not been considered so far by the said respondents. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner has come before this Court.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the Award was passed with respect to the aforesaid properties as early as in the year 1994 itself and the same was also served on the petitioner.

4. Heard both sides. Perused the records.

5. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on either side, this Court is of the view that in the event the 3/6

Award has already been passed and the same was also served on the petitioner, the respondent concerned can very well pass orders on the representation of the petitioner by mentioning the aforesaid fact.

6. In view of the same, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent concerned to pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 19.05.2025 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
