ORDER

This writ petition has been filed in the nature of Mandamus seeking a direction to consider the petitioner's application filed under Section 5 of Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007, on 18.09.2024, before the first respondent. 2.

The second, third and fourth respondents are the two sons and one daughter of the petitioner herein. The petitioner has stated that her husband died on 29.12.2019, and thereafter, the second to fourth respondents had begun to ill treat her and treated her as a third class citizen. Seeking maintenance, she had preferred a complaint before the first respondent.

Therefore, a direction is issued to the first respondent to follow the procedures as envisaged under the law, issue notice to the parties concerned and proceed with the matter and dispose of the same without any unnecessary delay.

With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
