This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 18 days in filing the above Criminal Revision Case against the order dated 04.04.2025 passed in M.C.No.320 of 2019, on the file of V Addl. Family Court, Chennai.

2. Mr.M.A.Arshad, learned counsel for petitioner submitted that on account of ill-health of aged parents, he was constrained to take care of them. Hence, the petitioner is not able to instruct counsel on record to prefer the above Criminal Revision case and only during month of September 2025, he gave papers to him, as a result of which, there is a delay of 18 days in filing the above Criminal Revision Case arose, which is neither willful nor wanton. Therefore, he filed this petition to condone the delay in filing the above Criminal Revision Case.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances, and the reasons stated by the petitioner in the affidavit seems to be justifiable one, this court is inclined to allow this petition. Registry is directed to number the Criminal Revision Case if it is otherwise found to be in order and post the matter on 25.09.2025.
