This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the first respondent-Police to instruct the second respondent to defreeze the savings Bank account of the petitioner bearing A/c.No.00000040830169792 maintained with 2nd respondent viz., State Bank of India, Padi Branch, Chennai.

When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondentPolice, on instructions, submitted that the first respondent-Police has already given instructions to the second respondent to defreeze the account of the petitioner and hence, nothing survives for adjudication in this petition.

3. Recording the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
