This civil miscellaneous petition has been filed seeking to grant leave for effecting substituted service on the 1st respondent by way of paper publication or any other mode that this court may be pleased to direct in a newspaper in Coimbatore which corresponds to the address where the 1st respondent is last known to have actually and voluntarily resided.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner/appellant and the learned counsel appearing for the 2nd respondent.

3. Sufficient reasons have been given in the affidavit filed in support of the petition. Accordingly, the petition is ordered and the learned counsel for the petitioner is directed to effect substituted service on the 1st respondent by way of paper publication by mentioning the next date of hearing as 19.12.2024, in anyone of the most read Vernacular Daily, which is circulated throughout the State of Tamil Nadu, on or before 13.12.2024 and file a proof of service before this Court on or before the next date of hearing.

4. For filing proof of service, post on 19.12.2024.
