The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondent bank to consider the E-mail representation of the petitioner dated 21.11.2024 within a time frame as fixed by this Court.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner company is engaged in the business of exporting garments across the globe. The petitioner had availed several facilities with the respondent bank. Pursuant to the sanction letter dated 30.05.2024, the bank imposed a condition that 2% penal interest would be charged, if the local planning authority approval was not obtained for the building occupied by the petitioner. The petitioner sent an E-mail to the respondent bank expressing certain difficulties with regard to local plaining authority approval for the old building and requested the respondent not to debit any amount from the account of the petitioner. The representation submitted by the petitioner through E-mail dated 21.11.2024 has not been considered till date. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. Mrs.Revathi Manivannan, learned standing counsel takes notice for the respondent.

In view of the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the respondent to consider the E-mail representation of the petitioner dated 21.11.2024 and pass final orders, on it's own merits, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order and communicate same to the petitioner through E-mail.

5. With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
