Crl.M.P.No. 3749 of 2025 in Crl.A.Sr.No. 62729 of 2024 P.VELMURUGAN, J This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is filed to condone the delay of 327 days in filing the above Criminal Appeal against the judgment passed in Special Sessions Case No.62 of 2019 dated 30.11.2023 by the Sessions Judge, Principal POCSO Court, Salem.
2. Heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the petitioner/State and perused the materials available on record.
3. Despite service of notice on the respondents and their names are also printed in the cause list, there is no representation for the respondents.
4. Though the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit are not satisfactory, in order to give an opportunity to the State to challenge the impunged judgment of acquittal, delay is condoned. Accordingly, this petition is ordered.
